Hello Kurt and Charles,

Thank you very much for yours compliments!

I use plywood ("contreplaqué") in 5 mm for the frame and in 3 mm thickness for the planking.

A first lath is glued at the waterline.

You can see here the sucession of the hull lines.

A second lath is laid down

At the stern, a stick of samba 5x5 mm is placed but not glued for the moment. This stick represent the futur waterway. You can see too the strengthening piece for the passage of the rudder.

This stick is previously and gradualy curved around a mould with water.

So long for another updates!

Hello everybody,

This is several pics of progress on the hull.

Several planks are laid down on the upper part of the hull. You can see the word "cuirasse". It's the height of armour, a plank of fine plywood will be glue over after.

After, the hull is turned over.

And the planking is continuing.

It's almost the end! Roll Eyes

So long!

Looking good Alain.  Looks like you'll be fiberglassing soon, and then you will be ready for the three years of sanding  Grin Grin Grin
