To all Skippers
Lake Huntington November-14th 2009

Task Force 96 will be having a Fleet Gathering of 1:96 - 1:100 scale ships and submarines. This will be a Incomplete Fleet type run.

This run will take place at Lake Huntington in Huntington Beach, CA. from 09:30 AM to about 3:00 PM

Then a friendly gathering over at James' afterwards.

PLEASE

How about a show of hands on who will be coming or even post that you cannot come out..
Directions:

405 Freeway

North Bound:
Exit Westminster Ave and take the East bound ramp, turn right at Westminster   ("In and Out Burger" ) and then right again at Edwards Ave.  Take Edwards about 4 miles to Inlet Ave. then turn left.

South Bound:
Exit Westminster/Springdale,  Take the Westminster portion, this will make a tight right circle so slow down, take Westminster to Edwards and turn Right. Take Edwards about 4 miles to Inlet Ave. then turn left.

The Lake is on your right hand side, it is right next to the road so you can't miss it.

Hope to see you there.

I will not be there either.  The Massachusetts has just about all of her beams in and I am going to keep cranking away at her!

By the end of the year, she'll have her shafts set in place and her main deck fitted Cool.

My New Jersey is down for some equipment overhaul and drydocking.
She will not be ready for the run this sat.

I have not gotten a positive response from anyone yet on their attending.

I am working on getting my John Rogers DD-574 ready for new trials.

I went:

I took my chair and a couple of Fletcher class books and sat there by myself and read from 10:02 til 11:45. I was the only one there. Embarrassed

Lee:

That is happening way too much to you out there.  You should move to North Carolina and run with us.  All you have to do is build a climate control room to do the casting without 100% humidity. Grin

Stop making excuses and run some warships.  Don't let Lee sit by himself again Angry
